Jake grows his hair out so that he will look like a young Johnny Depp and is soon flocked by young St. John's ladies in a way that is not too dissimilar to the reaction the Beatles received after their Ed Sullivan appearance.
All of the attention gets to be more than Jake can handle so he hires Mal to help him find a way evade the young ladies without giving up the hot cut.
